‘My Escape‘
|
It was the authentic story of Lothar Mork trying to escape from East Germany twice. The story was originally written in the United States over 20 years ago and rediscovered in Thailand in September of 2008. This manuscript was used as a baseline for the book to be rewritten. Based on many discussions, evaluations and input from others, a new book was created. In conjunction with interviews (looking back in anger), fact finding missions
(facts),
written as looked upon by a third party (other people), and referenced
forward in time (x many years in the West), we believe we have created a remarkable book in the form of a Docu-Fiction.

In the Fall of 1989 the Berlin Wall finally came down, the communist regime collapsed under public pressure and demonstrations by millions. However, the Wall has never really been eradicated from the minds of many young and old people in the East and the West alike. To the contrary, the Wall is getting resurrected through ignorance and denial on the part of many individuals. This book is trying to prevent that from happening
